Shelley Elmblad is a former writer for The Balance, where she covered personal finance software and apps for about four years. Over the course of more than 20 years, Elmblad has focused on teaching people how to save money, both in the traditional and non-traditional sense. Elmblad's experience includes owning and operating small businesses, teaching personal finance basics, and also designing and teaching software classes.
